We cool with outside air whenever the weather allows, instead of running the AC flat out. Less energy spent keeping the machines cool.

How it works

100 % green electricity
The whole site is powered by a 100 % renewable electricity contract. We don't change our tune from one page to the next: this is the value we hold.
Free-cooling
We use naturally cool outside air to cool the rack instead of running the AC non-stop. Fewer watts wasted on getting rid of heat.
Heat recovery
The hot air the servers expel isn't lost: we use it to heat the adjacent offices. A simple loop, but it avoids heating twice.
Low-power hardware
We pick recent, dense hardware (AMD EPYC) to run more people on fewer machines. Fewer servers powered on, less energy overall.
A single, well-run site
We operate a single PoP in Nozay, in-house. No scattered farms running half empty: we fill what we power on before powering on anything else.
We say what we do
We're a young single-site host. No tons of CO₂ avoided pulled out of a hat, no invented label. We prefer verifiable actions to round numbers.
